Baked Ziti

Ingredients:
1 pound dry ziti
1 onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
2 (26 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
6 oz. Provolone cheese, sliced
1 1/2 cup sour cream
6 oz. shredded Mozzarella
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9″ x 13″ baking dish. Cook Pasta until al dente. Brown onion & ground beef over medium heat. Add sauce & simmer about 15 minutes.
Layer: 1/2 ziti, provolone, sour cream, 1/2 sauce, remaining ziti, mozzarella, remaining sauce. Top with Parmesan. Bake 30 minutes or until cheeses are melted and bubbly.
***Recipe source is Allrecipes. We have had this several times. We do it without the meat on occasion and sometimes add vegetables, like squash & zuchini, to the mix.
