What a great idea the team at 5 Minutes for Mom had! A blogosphere party! A way to make new friends, win some really cool prizes and party it up!!!
Well, let me start by telling you a little about myself! My name is Becky. I’m from northeast Tennessee and have lived here all my life! I’m a Christian, wife, and mom of two little angels! Ok, so sometimes they are devils, but for the most part they are angels! 🙂 My daughter is turning six on March 9th and my son just turned one February 9th! My husband and I were high school sweethearts and started dating when I was a freshman and he was a junior. Our road has been bumpy, curvy, and one heck of a mountain to climb, but we are stronger for it!
I am fairly new to the blogging world. I started this blog in November, but I had given it a go earlier in the year. I was overwhelmed the first time around, but I’m starting to find my groove here! I write about my life, but I also participate in quite a few carnivals and memes. You will find Menu Plan Mondays, Works for Me Wednesdays, Thursday Thirteens, Friday Feasts, and SMART Habit Saturdays in my archives. I don’t participate in all of them every week, but I do like to join in on those. They help me with meals, goals, and everyday sort of things. Not to mention they help me find things to write about.

I was raised in Memphis, which I know is NOTHING like the beauty of east TN. But I’m still a southerner, so that counts. We’ll be visiting that area of the state soon and I can’t wait to see it again.
And I think that Time Traveler’s Wife is the best work of fiction written. New, original, witty, heart-rendering and completely enthralling. This from a woman who tears through books like their air – which is pretty accurate because I just NEED to have a book to read or I feel as if I’m incomplete.
